Neurodivergent Therapy in
Rockford, MI

Masking can drain you in everyday Rockford life. Maybe exhaustion hits on the drive between Wolverine Boulevard and Northland Drive, or you feel overstimulated downtown by the river when unexpected changes throw off your day. We use those real moments as anchors so progress shows up where you actually live.

My style is direct, no-nonsense, and practical. We keep sessions steady, work at your pace, and focus on tools you can use after work meetings, before a commute, or during quiet evenings at home. The aim is less masking, clearer self-understanding, and more room to be yourself.

My Approach

I combine body-based regulation skills with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to work with masking, executive functioning challenges, and emotional dysregulation. When it fits your goals, I use Brainspotting to access the deep brain where automatic responses live and help you unmask at a neurological level. I also utilize HeartMath to help you realign with your body and trust your intuition rather than societal conditioning. We set realistic goals, check what actually works for your brain, and keep adjustments sized for a normal Rockford week.

FAQ

Do I need to live in Rockford to meet with you?

No. Many clients split time between Rockford and Grand Rapids, Comstock Park, or Forest Hills. The Rockford focus helps us tie skills to your actual routines and environment.

What will we focus on first for neurodivergence?

We start with understanding your patterns and how masking shows up in your daily life. Then we build concrete tools for nervous system regulation, executive functioning, and communication that you can use before work, after social events, and during downtime.

Do I need a formal diagnosis?

Not at all. Many people self-identify as neurodivergent, and you'll find only affirmation here. Whether you have ADHD, Autism, sensory processing differences, or OCD, what matters is that you recognize yourself in these experiences.

Is online an option if I cannot drive down?

I offer secure telehealth when appropriate. If online is not a fit, we meet in person in Suite 303 on East Beltline.
